| If brands were really an issue, I'd suggest Bosophorous. I just replaced two Zildjan bronze (one 15" and one 18") with 15" and 17" Bosophorous traditionals. There brighter, but nice a crisp and pure "cymbal sounding" if that makes any sense. Though if I were playing punk or metal, I'd have stuck with what I had. It's what the music demands AND your taste. Just let price tags be the only thing limiting thing and, at that, only an upper limit. (Don't go cheap just 'cause you can save a bit and spend it on something that's not as important) |
