I'll try give a helpful answer
Made sense to me, i would go to the other manufacturers sites and research a drum head that has similar characteristics to what you already are using, unless you want a change of drum sound that is. Then if that is the case, some experimenting is needed.
To buy by "brand" name because another drummer uses it, is not a sensible choice because of the variables.
End of line, you should pick whatever heads you like the sound of suited your style of music played, drum sound you like and circumstances you will be playing in be it miked, recorded, or live considering the type of venues.
I suggest to look at what you like and dislike about your present heads and then research the manufacturer sites and weigh up to find something that fits in the ballpark of where you want to go. If your new to drum head selection, stick with tried and true general purpose heads (like what you are currently using, or similar) to cover all bases.
The Aquarian web site has a selection chart to compare similar heads.
