Now about this pedal bizzo. Any of the pearl powershifter pedals have a sliding foot-plate which can help with those hummungus peds of yours. Aside from that, Dw has a good sized plate, unless you wanna get some bigass longboards, like axis provide.
It shouldn't bug you too much anyway. Heel-up technique is largely dependant on the ball of your foot pushing against the middle of the plate.
If you need to keep the price down, I'd suggest looking at the gibralter Dual-chain pedals. They feel a lot like the pearls these days for half the price.
Really, the best thing you can do, is just get out and try them all. You're giving those storepeople enough money for the thing, make 'em work for it. |
