| I'll third the motion about the importance of elemental knowledge in bands. All too often I've gotten into bands with guitarists who sound like they can play really great, then slowly over time, once you've got a few songs down, you start to realise that everything they write is over the same beat.
That can get really annoying, especially when they don't want to admit it, but my current band is willing to work through the problem which is great. |
