For snare try a Shure sm57. It is a world standard, works well on toms also. I personally use a 57 on snare Sennheiser 602 on toms(very crisp and punchy) Audio technica pro-25 mics on large toms. The AT is actually a kick mic but is awesome on floor toms. Lastly for kick drums I prefer an AKG D-112. They're a lot of good mics out there. If you are on a very tight budget(who isn't) go with CAD. you can get a good sound at a reasonable price. I personally would buy higher quality used mics, you get better quality at the same or lower price as with budget with mics.
