Re: evans hydraulics, who has played 'em?
I have used the heads your asking about and they are hard to tune and I have never liked them on high end kits. I use Evans G2 clear now on my toms and the sound is much better. Of coarse I used the hydraulics on a different Kit (A Rogers Kit, Pearl Export) I have a Pearl Reference now. I have put Evans G2 clear on the Export a couple of months ago and low and behold it sounds better. So I would try themand see if you like them. As far as tuning I would tune them like all drums. |
