Re: I Need Your advice!!

Well i have a few suggestions. First off, change your cymbals. I used to own the ZXT rock set. I feel that it was good for starting ou t or having a decent set of cymbals but what a difference better ones made. I loved the ride though, great cymbal that ride was. anyways, i would recomend maybe something from paiste because i feel that their cymbals, even in the exact same price range as the ZXTs are soooooo much better. Check out some paiste alphas or some PST5s for cheaper (i really liked the PST5s for the price when i tried them out). Now id you want my favorite cymbals, those would be zildjian A customs but im not sure of you are willing to spend the cash. Now for your set, im not sure but i might go with something like a mapex m birch or a ludwig accent custom elite (all birch if you dont know). The superstars from tama are also a very good upgrade as well. I also like the idea of getting a more expensive or better kit in the low pro range by saving up some more money. Now, all of this will cost you more than 1000 dollars so you might ant to just wait and save up some more. The set up that you have now should be good for a little bit longer. I would also recomend used. you can get much better stuff off of ebay, craiglist, and other local used music equipment websites. Goodluck with finding the right kit and cymbals for you man, its always a tough but fun thing.
