My experience is that Zildjians typically have a wetter sound than Sabians unless you get something off the wall like the Earth Ride or Dynobeat hats. I wouldn't worry about mixing and matching brands too much though. There will be cymbals you'll like and cymbals you don't, and the brand shouldn't stop you from using them. |
