Re: What brand kit do you play and why?
I have a Gretsch Catalina Birch 5 piece fusion Kit. I play it for the following reasons:
1) I liked the sound of the kit when I sat down behind it in the store and still do.
2) It was in my price range.
3) Gretsch has a good reputation in the drumming community.
4) I wanted the fusion size kit, for more of a jazz sound, but I wanted a full size bass drum, for the bottom end.
5) It was a big step up from my first Kit a CB percussion set, that was great for a beginner on a budget, but didn't cut it as I advanced. |
