If you have or can get Neil Peart's "Anatomy of a Drum Solo" DVD, Disc 2 has a folder that is called "Transcription". Within this folder, there is a pdf file called "Der Trommler". It appears to have the entire drum solo (from the R30 DVD) transcribed. Of course, you'll need a computer with a DVD player to even access this file, and you'll also need to be able to read sheet music. I'm not
so good at reading sheet music, but I'm guessing the double hand crossover part of the solo is
somewhere around page 8, 9 or 10. I'm not totally certain, but that's my guess. I had this folder
open and followed along while watching the solo on another DVD player. I was really going more
by notated queues that the transcriber had written. So good luck and hopefully you'll have better luck finding the section than I did.
