I'd say a China is more useful. I have a Splash, and a China. I use the China much more. Their aren't many uses for a Splash other than the occasional fill, and putting it on the one with a chillin beat. China. But get a Splash later.
However. If you're really on a budget, think of the price difference. A China is as much as a crash. A Splash is between $50 - $100 depending on the make. So a Splash is significantly cheaper. |
