This is really going to come down to your personal preferance. You'll need to try them both out before deciding.
Key differences between the two would be, the tama is more of an old-school pedal. More feel, heavy kind of pedal, that is great if you're willing to work hard on your technique. The pearl on the other hand, is light as a feather and built for speed. Set it up, turn on the metronome and plough through those 16ths like there's no tomorrow. |
