I am a part time drummer who gigs occasionally. I mostly play music styles of blues, roots, and folk with a lot of brush and power rod stick work on a stripped down set (14" bass, snare, and cymbals...soon to add floor tom). I currently play on a set of Sabian B8-beginner cymbals (18" ride, 13" hi-hat). What suggestions do you have for a better sounding hi-hat/ride combo for my genre of play? I would like to move up to a larger ride but am open for the size of hi-hats. I am not particularly looking for a "cymbal package", just some complimenting sounds.
