I would think that for those Genres you would want a darker less bright) sounding cymbal Like a Zildian K Dark, or a Hand Hammered Sabian. Go to the websites of bands or drummers who play in those Genres, and check out what their drummers are using. Then try to get to a store to actually hear some in real life.
