D2 Kit update!
Hey all! Sorry I haven't written in a while. I had to have emergency appendix surgery and have been on the mend for the past couple of weeks. Doing just fine now. Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year!!
UPDATE:
I purchased a new D2 kit from a local shop that was having a big sale. I got it for $285. Its in brushed silver. I added Remo pinstripes all around, a Sabian B8 Pro pack and 2 boom stands. I also added my own Iron Cobra to the kick. It sounds awsome!! I am very pleased! With the upgrades, it sounds just as good as my Tama swingstar did. I did have to tweek the heads a little by tightening them a little more to get them in tune. Time will tell if the shells can stand up to wear and tear, but for $285 I couldn't pass it up.
