Hi mate , have you been playing long? could also be the stick size your using maybe it doesnt suit your style of playing Vic Firth American ClassicŪ Hickory Drumsticks have a look here its vic firths site with all the different shapes and sizes and gives a brief idea of the type of music each stick is for but each individual is different i used to use 2b,s then went to a 3a then used a wil calhoun signature model which i loved and then the bastard stopped endorsing them so i had to start again and ended up setteling for a 5b but i use nova 5b,s which ive been told are vic firth seconds but they are fab tried pro mark very good but expensive as too are zildjian and vic firth got 12 pairs of stagg sticks off e bay for 12.99 or something daft and and snapped all 12 pairs in one 45 minute spot live ****e !!! keep away !! got 5 pairs of novas for 14.99 and they are superb so check the net for some good deals they are out there if you look and if you still have bother mate ....buy a big **** off tub of super glue good luck pal.
