I disagree with the zildjian or sabian chinas...
Though that is because I like a different kind of sound.
To me the Wuhan, Racan, etc... some of these more unknown names have a very
nice brash sound...
I am a heavy hitter and over my 20+ years of playing drums I have only broke one
cymbal... which was a 6" zildjian splash.
Just go beat a few and see what you like. But don't knock the cheap cymbal just because
it is cheap... it may have that sound you are looking for. |
