The Generation X 8" and 10" Drumbals are cymbals that were designed to be played on drums. They are perfect for imitating white noise, hand claps, and other electronic effects. "Drumbals transform an acoustic drumset into an acoustic drum machine." states Johnny Rabb. "They are an endless source of creativity and ideas. Every drummer should have one!". Drumbals are made from brass, have a soundwaved edge and a small rubber handle attached to it. By placing the Drumbal on the snare and hitting it with the stick a electronic snare sound can be achieved. Other techniques include changing the pitch of a drum or creating several clap effects. Many more playing tips come printed on the packing of the Drumbal.

Pretty cheap too.. i might consider testing one out
