cymbal set ups is just personal preference. personally i like to have my cymbals set ergonomically and at an easy to reach height. but i dont think that is you want it to be louder your going to set up your cymbals higher its just stupid. because what if you wanted your drums to be louder you wont set them up higher right. you just do what you play LOUDER you increase you stick height and you increase the volume of the drum right. so Basically if you want your cymbals to be loud use bigger Stick height and hit your cymbals a little bit louder. and a lot of these drummers like Lars and the Drummer from judas preist and eric singer all have there cymbals that high for aesthetic reasons or in other words they just have just for show |
