| the biggest thing about somewhere damp is if it gets hot and cold in there a lot and there is any kind of condisation on anything at anytime it is going to cause the wood to start to mold and then turn into rot.
If you can move them else where and it dosnt seem like one dehumtizer is work then get another and I would look on the box to see just large of a space it is supposed to cover.
sunlight and dampnes is the major drum killers. I know it sucks about the wrap warping but that can be replaced it's the shells you really need to worry about.
look inside your drum and look for green or black spots on the wood and I hate to say this but if at all possibal look under the wrap as well because there can be other resonse for the wrap to come undone as well and mold will be one of them just like paint comeing off a rusted car there is no longer anything to bond the 2 together. |
