Re: How do I adjust my double bass pedal?

Spring tension brings the beaters closer/pedal down, i tmakes teh "kick back" of teh pedal or whatever you wanna call it, so there's pressure bringing the beater back away from the drum. Lossened it basically puts all teh motion on momentum, but lets you kick harder...but it's pointless to loosen it alot cause then the beater will either stay against the head or will come back and rest on your foot :P
Beater hight...higher the beater means it'll travel further inturn getting more speed/power. The higher it is, the more potential it has to create power, lower, the less potential it has. I liek mine between the middle and it's max height.
The cams..least that's what I'ma call em, where you can adjust the pedals angle away from teh drum/towards your foot or closer to the head also deals with teh potential to create more power and get a louder hit, further the more potential, closer the lower the potential.
Hope that explains it for ya
