Adjusting the pedal can be a real experience. I have a 7002 DW bass pedal and I have found that for starters I have everything in the middle IE: spring tention, and cam adjustment. I make sure that both of my peddals are the same for both feet.
The Slotted Stroke Adjustment allows infinite beater angle adjustment and the ball-bearing rocker reduces friction.
I have my beater about where there is 1/4"showing on the bottom. Work from there and play for awhile. Them make some simple adjustments and play for awhile. You will see what works best for you.
