I Need Help, On The Throne
No I don't need a bathroom assist...
...A major decision will have to be made to get a throne for my kit. Considering most thrones I've seen are like $120 - $180, I'm getting pretty nervous about pickin' one up. I'm a heavy guy weighing in at around 260 lbs on average, so I don't wanna be bending legs and fall flat out on me bum-bum. So durability is on the top of my list.
Since I've been started drumming I've never had the luxury of owning a drum throne. I've always had a broken office chair without a back that I swivel sideways so my legs don't catch the corners. So on a very serious note, how important is your throne to you, and what kinds of things make a throne better and not just more luxurious in your opinion? |
