Exactly what it says...keeps the screw tight. It's like a jelly/paste...or atleast the stuff we use in autos is like that. Sorta like glue fo rscrews, but is a whole lot easier to break the bond compared to super glue or of the like
Use that if you plan to wanna keep your snare lugs tight for as long as they'll be in there/till you change heads
