Any tips on securing second bass pedal? I'm in my basement with my drumset, and every once in a while my double abss pedal slides halfway across the length of the set. There are velcro strips on the bottom that came with it, and two adjustable spikes that point down and away from the drum throne; designed to dig in and prevent sliding. Unfortunately velcro and metal spikes don't do a damned thing on cement.
I've seen the drum rugs, and some thin rubber pad that's supposed to go under the pedal, but what else can I do? Right now I'm using a second snare stand setup behind the back of the pedal. The rubber foot sets on the lip in the rear of the pedal and presses down a little bit... but it still moves occasionally.
