Springs are made of a unique product called "Spring Steel". Bottom line-- Their Springs.
If you live long enough to wear them out, you can buy another set of springs for a massive amount of money-$5.00. To adjust the angle of your beater, you should be able to loosen a nut where the spring connects to the top shaft.
1. loosen the nut.
2. Rotate the beater back to where you want it.
3 Re-tighten nut
