Thanks I'll check that link out. Ended up calling into work today *cough* *cough* can't you see I'm sick? I will get the tuned today. Its wierd though. My snare has a nice pop to it, but that harmoninc, overtone, whatever it is takes away from it. With my old, cheap, came with the snare head I didn't have this.

*Edit* so far I go my toms sounding pretty good with that guide, about to tackled the bass drum. Still havn't figured out the *ping* sound on my snare. I've played around with the tension on the snare, loosened and tightened the batter side. I think I have the resonent sight on right, it feels firm.
