Go Alpha not PST 5. A little better sound, projection and quality. If you know or have access to a metal shop with a lathe, they can spin it down below the crack and wallah! new crash or splash. Paiste won't recycle that stuff, in fact, I think the "Pulse" cymbal company is either Paiste seconds, or meltdowns by Paiste.

I've seen some cut abstract wierd angles to cut cracks out, or drill a hole at each end of the crack as a quick repair. Good luck!
