Ludwig, Tama, Pearl and a mix as a newbie. My favs were the recording customs, sold them in 1986 when I needed to get a real job..........The sound of birch was awesome. I recorded with them at Normandy sound in RI and the tech had them up and ready to record in less than 20 minutes. He was amazed at the sound quality. Thats why! Paiste as well, 2002's exclusively then, now a mix of Paiste. |
