If the person knows they suck and your an expert, you can tell someone they suck in a constructive way. My son tries playing things he's nowhere close to doing right. I call it running before he can walk. I've told him "you sucked" at that, and he knows and we laugh and work on basics again. Now, I don't consider myself an expert at anything except opening my mouth to switch feet, but I hope you can see what I mean.
