I do...but I use a shag rug and a little pillow that rests against the batter head. Iono, sounds great to me cause it muffles it but keeps it's bassy tone and not just a dead hit. If I played jazz there wouldn't be a pillow in there though, just doesn't fit that style of music IMO if a pillow is used. |
