Guys/girls your forgetting old school: My view of the best sounding snare of all times would
be Steward Copeland of the Police his snare is so tight and yet when he plays and someone
else plays the same track you can tell the difference.In Peter G's (Big Time) you can tell it's Steward I could tell the first time i heard it with my eyes closed.Next i would saw it has to be
Gina Shockley(go go's) Great short sustain,very sharp. Look at the song "Head over Heels"
Ok next would be a choice between Hillary Jones and Poodie Bell. Then Neal Peart Oh dont forget some Gene kuper.Then there are allways others but these would be my choice of the best snare sound if really there is something that you can call it.(it's based on what each drummer likes, and feels good with (as Bernard Purdie would say) See i gona plane something
