I have a gibraltar flat one, very light and punchy, I use the stock felt ball. Seems to me the extra weight in the back helps bring the beater head back a hair faster, which I need. I suppose it depends on your musical style, speed, and volume, plus of course the sound. I used to have round wood ones, man it gave the bass a nice wet sound....... |
