Re: What to do with a cracked cymbal?

As it turns out, I did go with a pst5 rock crash over an alpha medium. The sound won out in the end, I prefered the brightness of the pst5 and after scouring every shop in my metro area, that was best thing i could find in my price range. Dude those sabian xs20's are appalling!! Honestly the B8's Piss all over them!

Anyway, I have always liked the idea of getting a third crash on my kit, but never got around to it, so I'm gonna get a new cymbal arm (I'll need this even if I don't keep the cymbal) and work the old gem back onto the kit to see if I like it. A cheap way of testing out the setup.

So maybe I will have to find a metal shop to laythe the crack out. Thanks for help guys.
