If you are sticking with the tried/true method then I can't help but recommed the Ludwig Speed King. It isn't very expensive since it is an old design but man I love that pedal. The pedal is direct drive style... so no chain or strap to worry about. You lose out on a little bit of features... but I never thought it needed them to begin with. |
