I have a 9410 Yamaha single, and just scored the other side (right) to make it a double on ebay. The stock is the left as the connector hooks onto the right of the frame. I got the right side for $45 plus shipping. Sweet deal. I like it. I also like the 9000 DW, it's as sweet as can be. The 7000 is very good and the 5000 is pretty good. Axis are excellent, and I am not a pearl fan. My suggestion is to hit a store with a large drum department and have at it. Go on your lunch break on a weekday and I'm sure they will open a box or 2 for you to try. Good luck.
