My used cymbals:
14" crash $100(now use it as a hi-hat)
Current ride $70(i also crash, buy a pingie ride)
18" crash $40(I had a friend who worked in the drum department)
16" crash $100(Daddys junkie music, they dont know drumming at all)
other 18" $150(bought it from a friend, he needed the money, cracked, but sounded great, I still play it, it also help me found "my sound")
14" hi hats $60(sound jazzie I use em for punk, they ad another cymbal brand to my kit)
17" crash $60(adds another brand)
14" hats, new but friend sold them
9.5" zil bell $50(ping)
22" china $200(i'm thinking of buying this, they sell for over 400 online)

Used drums:
Yes Dave Matthew's drummer uses a similar kit...
Yamaha recording custom, I bought it for $500, A bit rusty, used about $200 at the most to get new hardware(my drum mentor from the shop gave me some of his own unneeded yamaha equipment)

I have broken it into a 13 16" tomed kit (punk/rock use mostly)
also I use the rest of the tome as a fusion(10 12 14")... like lastditch(an old forum member skinslapper will remember, Metal!)

If it comes with heads the tops will occupy you for a wile untill you need to buy more, one pair of bottom heads can be played for years!
