i use tama 70's swingstar that i bought from a jamming studio..it's in the storeroom for nearly 4 years and still sound great..of course, have to replace many of the parts..i tink it's good to have a used drum for a start..but, that's my opinon bro..hehehee...u can explore it first. try to bang the used drum (maybe from a jamm studio or a fren's set) n also try the new one..definitely, one of those will catch ur heart..
