Re: Has anyone played Sabian Hand Hammered?

"IF" you can, it's best to pack up the cymbals you have and head to your local music store after you can and verify that they have at least one of each of the cymbals you're considering. ESPECIALLY with hand hammered cymbals, the sound each has can vary by a bit so it's best to set them up on stands in the music store with your own cymbals to see if they compliment what they have.
My last cymbal purchase was some Paiste Twenty series and two 18" crash cymbals I tried has noticable differences in the tone they gave off. One gave off a sound that had a very complimentary interval in tone when match to a 16" Paiste Signature full crash. The other Twenty series 18" crash, while being the same exact model gave off almost the same tone as the signature 16" crash.
So trying them before you buy them, especially with the cymbals you currently have is very important. If your local music store wont allow that, go elsewhere.
