full metal is on a distinguished road
almost all the normal brands that you see in any music store are all good heads.
remo, attack, evens, aquaris
are all good heads, for that tama kit your getting the heads on there sould be some ok heads.
for me I was using the remo pinstripes for years because they could take some abuse but I started getting the aquaris heads not to long ago and they seem to be holding up better, the heads are kinda like the cymbals you want to get a little better brand but they can get real exspinsve real quick.

one of the first things to consider about heads is the bottom heads, I would look at replacing them first with somthing nice and thick and it will give you really good tone.
if you want to make your kit look better (depending on the color of the kit) I would go with the remo ebony (black) heads and take finger nail polish remover to the remo logo and they can look really good and make your toms sound better.
Since you are a new drummer I would sugest getting good and think heads because you will probably want to play hard, so you will need somthing that can take the abuse.
and dont forget about your sticks as well and those can add up real quick as well.

I would suggest staying away from zildjian sticks, they are know for brecking real quick, stay with pro mark or valter or as you were stating before the AHEAD sticks.
