And the bass technique you use will be another factor to consider. Some drummers sit close to the snare and have their bass drum(s) in tight because they're playing with the balls of their feet. I play with my heels down and I've got long legs, so I'm comfortable with the bass drums far off to the sides and ahead of the snare a fair distance. |
