I have 2 favourite drummers, because they are equally as good at their styles.
Thomas Pridgen for his amazing technical ability and groove, his work with the Mars Volta always amazes me.

And Chris Hrasky of Explosions in the Sky. He always finds the perfect beats, difficult or not. His use of different sticks, well played dynamics, original playing style and godlike cymbal swells put him on my list.
