ludwig "tunable" tambourines
just got a ludwig LE4004 tambourine from one of the big catalog stores. It was described in the catalog copy as tunable. I have seen ludwig tambourines with tension rods, and lugs. This is a tack headed tambourine, I can't see any way to tune it. It gets stranger because, for the life of me, I can't find a single contemporary photo of this model or any other ludwig tambourine. Any info on current ludwig tambourines, what constitutes tuning apparatus, photo sources, tunable or non-tunable descriptions, etc. would be a great help. thanks! |
