Re: Storing drums in bad places You're not going to get any sympathy from me, Death. I'd almost give my left hand to live in Australia...well, that's overstating the case, but Australia is my family's dream destination.
As for doing drum damage, Ontario's weather is terrible. The wrap on my bass drum cracked many years ago from going in and out of warm rooms and into frigid, below freezing temperatures in cars and vans. The shells themselves are surprisingly durable but like most things, drums aren't made for Canadian winters. I guess an all metal kit would work if you scraped off the frost. |
