I would look on line to buy because you'll get a better deal on line than in a store and a store like costco doesn't know much about musical instruments. Look on musicians friend and you can see alot of different sets of drums, if your looking for a good not very expensive set you should look at a few Pulse sets the drums are really made well and the hardware is good and the cymbals sound pretty good too.Read the reviews on some of the pulse drumsets and judge for yourself, I know a few people who have pulse drums and they are happy with them, you can look at other sets their prices and read the reviews on them and you may be able to make a judgement from there.
