Ipdrummer44 this is SLINGERLAND Yamaha makes excellent drums I know as I'm looking for a new set myself. I recommended Sonor because I'll be buying a Sonor set. You will always have use for the extra tom tom later on believe me.Sonor makes an incredible set and the Birch set fits right into your Price. You will be able to use these drums as a PRO and gig with them, these are sets to gig with not just starter sets.The sound of these drums are excellent you can hear Sonor drums on youtube.com let me know what you think.
