I like your options here, you can't go wrong with a Sonor or Yamaha. Both of these brands are among the top drum makers in my opinion. If I were you, I would not go online to listen too the drums, I would get to my local music shop and play both of them. I have played Yamaha kits for most of my life and love them. I was just looking to get a new one and replace my stage custom for a new set. I look everywhere but Yamaha, and for some reason now, I have two sets a Yamaha Stage custom, and a Yamaha Absolute Maple, and I think that is one of the best kits made. Sonor is another kit if I had the money, I would own both. So, I really don't want to sway your opinion from here. Good luck man
