The biggest problem with ball type clamps, is that once you hear a grind, you'll never get that drum back in place unless it's replaced. The needle type screw just cuts right into the ball leaving a groove.

So what improvements have been made to eliminate that problem. Universal adjustments are great till they breakdown.

Always carry some spares around. I see three racks set up in that pic.

I'm just curios for future investments. These racks are all extremely pricey, no matter what brand you buy.
