Well people have different preferences when it comes to heads - Remo vs Evans, coated vs clear, etc.

Coated heads give off a warmer tone and a duller, more mellow attack.

Clear heads aren't as warm in tone as the coated heads but they have a sharper and more defined attack. Plus I think they look better on the drum set.

So here's a poll. What kind of drum heads do you use? Coated or clear?
