Its really not that big of a deal.... on my first gig my band and I played in front of like 30 people and its just FUN...... i get stage fright when i have to talk in front of my class in school but behind the drum kit im not nervous at all. the worst point of being nervous is when your band is next up but after that its like your practicing..... know your covers and do your homework but dont blow it out of porpotion... its just a gig remember that..... have fun and make sure all your drums are tightened so they dont fall... keep a drum key handy and sticks....... make sure u have 3 or 4 pairs of sticks ready...... i use VIC FIRTH SD10 Swingers and i love them. a little off topic........ hope this helps |
